They're coming to America

(obligatory fobby peace sign I now have in every picture
-Taken yesterday before my last day of work for a month)

I love that song by Neil Diamond
Except, it's me, I'm coming to America. I'm heading there on Monday. Don't fret, it's just for vacation. Karamel will still be in Korea for a long while yet. So, I am pumped, excited, nervous. I don't know what to expect. You see I left for Korea December 2008 and I have not been back since. Korea has changed so much since I've been here but probably more on that in another post. This one is about America

The weekend before Chuseok is not the time to go shopping...

...And other things that have been irking me about Seoul.

Don't get me wrong, I love Korea. I really do. But since I got back from my trip (which made me a mean person I might add), I have been in an interesting mood. I can't motivate myself to do anything unless it is directly related to work or drinking. Korea enables my drinking habits...
But what that means is, if I wake up on a Saturday hung over, I won't even leave my house to get water or food, unless I am invited out...

Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving)

My school didn't really give a chuseok holiday because it fell on a Saturday. That had a lot of kids cranky and ruined any plans of taking any fun and exciting trips outside the country. Instead I planned to meet up with my girls a little bit later the next day. Unfortunately when I got off work that Friday, we went drinking so I was a little hung over the next day.
