The end of summer

Summer has come to its end. A term has passed and gone by. Life is still the same, minor glitches here and there. I think I will stay in Korea another year. I love the life I life here, lots of fun parties, people all around, some of my only qualms are that as big as Seoul is, the foreign community is minuscule... every weekend you will run into somebody you know or someone who knows someone you know. Also, sometimes partying all the time can get strenuous.

I had a couple of stressful times but I am recovering nicely. I do miss my family a lot but I am learning a lot about my family being this far away from all that I love.

My new schedule is awesome. I have Wednesdays and weekends off. It's the perfect time to have off because you can rest up and then have at it again. So i work 24 hours a week, and I make enough money. My life is great. I also started teaching listening this term, and I have great kids in my classes so I can't complain too much. My coworkers are amazing.

I want to give special mention to the Itaewon pool. I went out one time, and it was really a club, and a pool. It's open every summer, make sure to check it out. I've been partying with a passion all summer, but it seems fall will be a time to cool it down, as it is getting cool again.

Recently, we had an end of summer hweshik and it was a lot of fun. We have some fun new coworkers, and it was great to have fun and play, although with the Junggye Family, its always a bit much. I love life, and yikes, fall is here :)
